Ce qui a changé dans chaque version depuis la 1.0.0. La version la plus récente est en haut.
Toutes les mises à jour de la version 1.x sont comprises dans ta licence.
Les notes de version sont en anglais. Elles s'affichent de la même façon sur la page de mise à jour de ton système de tickets.

- The built-in web server now runs nginx 1.28, the maintained stable version. The previous version no longer received security updates.
- The HTTPS component now stays on a tested version line. An update can no longer move it to a new line without our testing it first.
- Responses no longer name the web framework. New installations also no longer show the web server version.
- If you changed the file compose.yaml yourself, the update keeps your file. It places the new version next to it as compose.yaml.new, and you can move your changes over.

- Updates now also bring security fixes for the database, the web server and the HTTPS component. Until now, these parts stayed at the version they had on the day of installation. This takes effect from the update after this one.
- Before an update, the backup now always saves the data of this installation. On a server with several installations, it could save the data of another one.
- The languages in the account menu now open in a submenu, and the menu scrolls when space runs short. With many languages, the light and dark switch could no longer be reached.

- The “Close ticket” dialog now offers your response templates that resolve or close a ticket. Picking one fills in the closing comment, the recipient and the subject.
- Bounces, out-of-office replies and bulk mail no longer become tickets. They are marked as read and moved, without a ticket and without a reply.
- After reloading a page, the interface now stays in your chosen language. Before, it switched to English until the next sign-in.
- Agents in several teams now see the ticket list of each of their teams in the sidebar. Before, only one of these lists appeared.
- The included privacy policy now also covers the public live demo on our website.

- New light look: calm blue instead of red and orange, flat panels and buttons, and the SMITEY wordmark in the sidebar. The dark look stays exactly as before.
- New users now start in the light look. Existing users keep the look they have. Everyone can switch in their own menu at the bottom of the sidebar.
- If you set your own brand colors under CI settings, they still apply in both looks.

- The daily report of the 30-day demo no longer includes your e-mail address unless you choose so. It sends an installation identifier, the remaining trial days, the version and the operating system.
- The installer no longer asks for a mandatory privacy consent. Instead it offers two choices: send the daily demo report (on by default) and also send your admin e-mail address (off by default). You can change both later by running the installer again.
- Installations updated from an earlier version stop sending the e-mail address. To keep sending it, run the installer again and tick the box.

- Updates now also refresh the container configuration file (compose.yaml). Until now it kept the state of the first installation, so improvements to it reached new installations only. A file you edited yourself is never overwritten: the new version is saved next to it as compose.yaml.new, and the update log tells you. This takes effect from the next update after this one, because this release renews the updater itself.
- Installations with HTTPS did not tell the ticket server that two proxies sit in front of it. The update now sets this value if it is missing. Effect: the request limit sees each visitor separately again instead of all visitors as one.
- Own certificate (HTTPS guide, way B): the certificate folder is now part of the standard configuration. Editing compose.yaml is no longer needed for this step.

- Updates start faster. Before an update, the system saves a snapshot of the recent container logs. The ticket server used to write every database query into its log. On a server that had been running for a few days, this made the snapshot slow and could leave the server's part of it empty. Database queries are no longer logged. Warnings and errors are still recorded, so nothing is lost for a support case.
- The database health check now runs every 30 seconds instead of every 10. This reduces the noise in the system journal on the host. Startup is not affected.
- The setup assistant and the assignment email use the same wording as the website in Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German and Greek.

- The installer now speaks your language in one more place. The step that switches how the system is reached, and the "change-access" command that goes with it, showed their texts in English in 31 of the 33 installer languages. They are translated now. This only affects the installer and the command line tools on the host, not the ticket system itself.

- The sidebar has a new "Help" entry. It opens the online manual on our website in a new browser tab. The manual opens in the language your interface is set to; for the two languages the website does not carry yet it opens in English. Administrators and agents see the entry, customers do not.

- The report did not count waiting times. "Waiting for user" and "Waiting for other team" were always zero, and the net processing time was too high by exactly those hours. Both are counted correctly now, for the tickets you already have as well. These figures will therefore change in your reports, and the new ones are the right ones.
- The ticket list, the dashboard and the ticket history now show the status name you set. If you had renamed a status, the new name appeared on the ticket page but the list still showed the old one. The two waiting statuses also read with their full name everywhere now.
- The priority of a ticket appears with its translated name in the list and on the ticket page. In English nothing changes. In every other language the list used to show the untranslated name.

- Updates installed from inside the program failed on every system that does not run on port 8088, and were rolled back. This affects every installation set up for the local network, because those use port 80. The updater checked whether the new version had come up, but it asked on the wrong port and gave up after two minutes. It now takes the port from your own settings.
- Nothing was lost when this happened: the old version was put back automatically and kept running.
- If your system still carries the older updater, you can start the update from the command line once and hand it the port. After that this fixes itself.

- The language list under Settings -> Language Settings now offers 30 languages instead of 50. The languages that were taken out had no support anywhere in the product: not in the installer, not in the setup assistant and not as a language pack. Picking one of them gave you an English screen under a foreign name.
- Arabic, Hebrew and Persian were taken out as well. They are written from right to left, and the screen is not mirrored for them.
- Text you write yourself is not affected by this. Ticket titles, comments and the contents of your own fields can still be written in any language, including languages that are no longer on the list.
- A language you had already switched on stays switched on. It is shown by its short code from now on, for example TE instead of the name in its own script.

- While the program data is being unpacked, the installer now shows a dot every few seconds and reports afterwards how long it took. Until now the screen stayed completely silent for about 40 seconds at that point. That looked like the installation had stopped, and closing the window there leaves a half-finished installation behind.
- Installation messages now appear immediately even when the output is being recorded or written to a file. Before, they could arrive in large blocks with long pauses in between, which looked like the installer was stuck.

- You can now change how the system is reached after it has been installed. Until now that choice was fixed during the installation. Changing it later meant editing the configuration file by hand or installing again, which would have cost you the database and all attachments. The new desktop shortcut "Change how SMITEY is reached" asks for the new setting and restarts the system. Your tickets, files and settings stay where they are.
- The switch works in both directions and covers all three ways of reaching the system: by IP address in your local network, by an internal name, or by a public domain with automatic HTTPS. On Linux the same step runs with install.sh --change-access.

- The uninstaller is now signed like every other program we ship. Windows had started blocking it because it could not verify who published it, and all you saw was "an error occurred while uninstalling" - together with an offer to remove the entry from the program list, which would have left the software installed with no way to remove it.
- If you reach the system through an internal DNS name, you can now correct that name from the desktop shortcut "Change address", just like with a public domain. Until now that shortcut appeared only for public HTTPS addresses, and a typo in the internal name meant editing the configuration by hand.

- The installation no longer leaves an empty "SmiteyBackups" folder in your Downloads. Your backups have been stored in the installation folder since 1.0.4, but the backup tool still created its default folder on startup - moments before the installer pointed it somewhere else.

- When you uninstall, the question about removing the container runtime now always appears in front. It could end up behind the window it was started from, which made it look as if nothing had happened - and starting the uninstall a second time then failed with a misleading error message.

- The setup now checks the admin e-mail address while you type it in: the field turns red and tells you what is wrong. In the previous version the check ran too late - the setup accepted the address and then stopped after the restart, in the unattended part of the installation.
- "Create support package" is now available even when the installation fails. It used to be created only after a successful run, so it was missing exactly when you needed it to report a problem.
- If the setup stops during the last step, the file it tells you to run again is now really there. On computers that did not need a restart, that file had never been created.

- Installing on Windows with port 80 no longer fails. The container runtime did not allow ports below 1024, and since the setup started proposing port 80 whenever it was free, every fresh installation that accepted the proposal stopped halfway through with a permission error.
- The setup now checks the admin e-mail address you enter. A typo such as a comma instead of a dot used to be accepted silently, and you would only notice when the first message failed to arrive.
- The installation log no longer reports an error when the container runtime is already running - that is the normal case, and the message sent anyone reading the log looking in the wrong direction.

- The installation now shows you the complete privacy policy, starting at section 1. Until now it showed only the part about the software, which began at section 12 and referred to sections you could not see - among them the one naming who is responsible for your data.
- The privacy text and the box you tick are on the same page now. The separate information page before it is gone, and so is the detour of opening the text in a separate window.

- The privacy question during installation is now short and to the point. The full text still appears right before it, so nothing has been left out - the three sentences on the screen name what is transmitted, and the details stay in the privacy policy.
- The privacy notice that comes with the installation now matches the published privacy policy word for word. The earlier version was shorter and named the installation identifier incorrectly.
- Four messages that used to appear in English for everyone are now translated into all 33 installer languages, among them the three hints about the certificate for your public domain.

- Before the installation asks for your consent, it now shows you the part of the privacy policy that concerns the software. It also names two things the short text left out: the IP address of the contact and the approximate region derived from it.
- If the certificate for your public domain is not there yet, the installation now names the reason instead of leaving it in a log file. It also tells you that this is retried automatically, so the address starts working on its own once the requirements are met.
- There is a new command to ask later whether HTTPS works: "smitey-install check-https". It answers in one line and names the reason if it does not.
- The closing summary now says plainly that with automatic HTTPS your system answers only under its domain name, not through its IP address.

- The backup application now answers your commands without talking about itself. Until now it printed the calls it makes to the container engine above every reply. Those lines are still written to its log file, which is where they belong.
- The last line of "config" no longer says the same thing twice. It states once whether the daily backup is really registered with your operating system.
- The document BACKUP-RESTORE.txt now explains how to run these commands on Windows. On a Linux server they work as they are; on Windows the application is a window program, so add "| Out-Host" to every call. Without it the output arrives after the next line of your script, and the return code is lost. This update also renews the document on systems that are already installed.

- On Windows, your backups are now stored in the installation folder instead of your Downloads folder. That keeps them out of any cloud sync, out of the reach of the Windows storage clean-up, and available to every administrator rather than to one user account. Backups made before this update stay where they are; move them over yourself if you want them all in one place.
- When you uninstall, the last window now tells you that your backups were kept on purpose and names the folder they are in. The installation folder stays behind for exactly that reason - it is not a failed uninstall.

- The Windows setup asks for your consent to the privacy policy right after the licence agreement, not at the end. If you do not agree, you no longer have to fill in the administrator account, the address and the port first. The Linux installer asks at the same point.
- The consent is now also asked when you update an existing installation. It used to be skipped there, although the setup reported it as given.
- On the page that asks how the system should be reachable, the second option now says that HTTPS can be added later, and a sentence explains how the first two options differ: one uses the IP address of the server, the other a name from your own DNS. Only the third option sets up HTTPS during the installation.

- On Windows, the setup could stop at its last step with the console window still open. It was waiting for an answer to a question nobody could see: Windows asked for an account password, and that question ended up in a log file instead of on screen. The setup no longer waits for questions like that, and the console shows again what it is doing.
- After the daily backup has been set up, the system now checks in the operating system whether it is really there. If the backup can only run while somebody is signed in, you are told - on a server where nobody signs in, it would otherwise never run and nothing would say so.
- The service now watches over the backup as a second safety net. If no backup has been made for two days, it creates one itself.
- The setup asks for the HTTP port after you have chosen how the system should be reachable, not before. With a public address over HTTPS it does not ask at all, because the port is only used inside the computer there. If port 80 is free, it is suggested - then the address contains no port number.
- The support package now also collects the log files of an installation that is still running. That is exactly the situation in which the package is needed.
- The first administrator password is no longer written to the log files. It stays on screen and in the credentials file.
- The start menu entry for the third-party licences now appears in every installer language.
- The licence terms now cover moving your installation to different hardware or reinstalling it.
- The backup application now carries the same version number as the ticket system.

- Version 1.0. The product leaves its 0.x line with this release. Nothing changes for your licence: keys have always been issued for version 1.x, so your Professional features stay exactly as they were, and updating is always allowed.
- Dates and times now follow a setting of your installation instead of a fixed German format. Under "Settings -> General Settings" you choose the order (day-month-year, month-day-year or year-month-day), the separator, a 24- or 12-hour clock and the time separator, with a preview before you save. The factory setting is exactly the old format, so nothing changes unless you change it - and the chosen format now reaches every place that shows a date, including logged time, the ticket history, the dashboard and the licence page.
- The update page could tell you "Your system is up to date" when it had not reached the update source at all. For a server without a route to the internet that reassuring message stood there permanently while every update was left undone. It now says plainly when the source could not be reached.
- Archiving a period no longer depends on the time zone of the person clicking. "The year 2026" started on 31 December 2025 for an operator in Berlin, so the archive carried the last hour of the previous year and the file was named after the wrong day.
- Questions before an action - deleting, archiving, closing - now come from the application itself instead of the browser's own window. The old window labelled its buttons in the language of the computer, and it can be switched off in the browser; after that the action ran without any question at all, including the final deletion of tickets.
- Attachments: the PDF preview was dead in the delivered build and is back, and the size limit is 50 MB - the pages said so, the product allowed 10.
- Knowledge base: the suggestions offered while a ticket is being created were largely chance, because every filler word counted as a search term. Images can be inserted into articles again, and pasting a WebP image no longer breaks saving.
- SLA: rules can now be limited to a category, and the deadline column of the ticket list can be sorted - the sales page promised it, the list never allowed it.
- E-mail: a ticket created from an incoming mail now carries the sender's name in the requester field. The ticket history no longer reports a mail that was never sent, and the mail switch of a template only appears when something can actually go out.
- Bulk actions name the reason before you click instead of only after, and their texts are no longer stuck in the plural for a single ticket.
- Language packs: the path that brings translations to your installation was broken in three places - importing failed for two teams with the same category name, texts lost their spacing, and five entries described a limit that had changed. The product now reports the state of each pack itself.
- Many smaller corrections across the interface, found while every screen was documented for the manual: the availability state was shown with three different levels of detail, the approval cards named the wrong dates, the satisfaction report hid its trend over time, the master-data export contained a mandatory placeholder although the notice promised an empty file, and duplicate entries could be created for standard texts and services.
- The backup application (0.6.1) now checks the operating system instead of trusting its own settings: it reported "Daily backup: ON" even when the scheduled task did not exist. It also registers a schedule on Windows without administrator rights instead of failing - before, you could end up with no schedule at all.
